Now we could have driven around the city until we run out of electricity (or petrol in the case of our hybrid friends), but where's the fun in that? Instead, we took to the racetrack to see just how far we could travel at highway speeds, and which vehicle would live up to its range claims.

Me sorprende el primero eléctrico en parar.
Un poco extraño el primero en caer antes que el segundo. Lo del no echar gasolina al Volt y si al prius y al Honda es....
Un test drive absurdo, comparan vehículos 100% eléctricos con 2 vehículos híbridos que no tienen nada que ver... El honda si no tuviese gasolina no se movería ni 100m porque su motor eléctrico no funciona cómo el del prius, que arranca en eléctrico y puede recorrer 2km.
No tiene ni pies ni cabeza.
En la prueba de autonomía sí puede ser absurdo comparar eléctricos puros e híbridos, pero en el reportaje hay pruebas individuales de cada coche en el mismo circuito comentando la aceleración, estabilidad, etc.
Por ejemplo, del Fluence ZE dicen:
"ON THE ROAD
A race track is not a natural environment for EVs, but the Renault certainly wasn't one of the back-markers among this lot. The Fluence ZE cuts a fine line through corners and felt composed and tidy. Only the Honda looked more capable in corners."
Después de todo no es extraño comparar un eléctrico puro y un híbrido. Greybeard estaba entre un Yaris HSD y un eléctrico pequeño.
A eso me refería, en términos de autonomía es una prueba absurda, en cambio si se trata de ver el comportamiento de estos vehículos sobre circuito es otra cosa.

Y yo. No hay mucha diferencia entre un eléctrico y un híbrido en una ciudad llana y si muchos inconvenientes. Para empezar te obliga a un segundo o tercer coche.
